Tight w/ Tass Tuesday: Yoga- Family Edition

If you're like me, you're trying to find ways on how to keep your family active during the summer.  I have two children, the ages of 7 and 5, and since they're on summer break, I thought introducing them to yoga would be a good way to start their mornings. The yoga moves I'm presenting today are from a children's yoga class I found online and can be done from the early age of 3.

My children and I have been doing this yoga at home for about 2 weeks. Since I started doing yoga with them, I noticed that they are more relaxed throughout the day, they argue and fight less often, and they actually look to each other as a play buddy. If you're a parent, you know how beneficial that is! During the yoga session, it brings joy to see how my kids go through that sense of accomplishment when they master a pose. 

For those who don't have children yet, I still believe that starting your mornings off with a yoga session will allow you to have a clearer mind and more peace throughout the day. I tend to look to yoga when I want a "rest day" from the gym or when my muscles are too sore to move. Yoga allows you to rest your muscles while still doing something good to your body and mind.  

There's no need to spend money on yoga classes you probably don't have time or money for; there are tons of yoga videos online that allow you to perform the moves in the comfort of your own home.
